Congratulation to Radar Short Course Participants

Gematronik, Neuss, Germany. 15th – 17th November 2002
 
The first Short Course on "Fundamentals of Doppler and Polarimetric Weather Radars" was held at our factory in Neuss by Dusan Zrnic and Richard J. Doviak from NOAA/NSSL, University of Oklahoma Norman, OK.
 
Over 40 participants from 12 different countries and 17 different institutions met at the Gematronik factory and the Schlosshotel Friedestrom. In-depth discussions covered the latest results of Doppler and Polarimetric Weather Radar developments. At the end of the 2.5 days short course, the participants as well as Dusan Zrnic and Dick Doviak came away expressing their belief in the success of the event.
