Gematronik Workshop on Signal Processing
Weather radar signal processing is not only a fascinating world in itself but also one of the most challenging and fastest growing fields of radar meteorology. Based on the rapid progress of modern weather surveillance systems, AMS - Gematronik offers a three days
"Workshop on Advanced Weather Radar Signal Processing
and Dual Polarization".
The Short Course will be held by Prof. V.N. Bringi and Prof. V. Chandrasekar from Colorado State University on September 13th - 15th 2005 at the Holiday Inn Hotel, Düsseldorf - Neuss, Germany.
The goal of our Workshop is to provide training to radar users who are new to these systems, or who would like to improve their skills and understanding the role of signal processing for weather radar application. The Workshop would also be valuable for potential customers who are evaluating the applicability of our Dual Polarization and Doppler weather radars meeting their future needs in radar meteorology.
AMS - Gematronik will present its new digital receiver and signal processor GDRX, the state-of-the-art signal processor available on the market today.
Please refer to the information below for further details on our Workshop.
For organizational purposes of our Workshop, an early reply is highly appreciated. We would welcome your positive reply until 31st May, 2005. Please note that the number of participants to the Workshop is limited. Please contact Gabriele Kadner at +49-2137-782 405 or via e-mail g.kadner@gematronik.com.
