Korea-Japan-China, 2nd Joint International Conference on East Asian Meteorology

The 2nd Joint International Conference on East Asian Meteorology was held on October 11-13, 2006 at the new exhibition Center Kintex in Seoul, Korea. This joint Korea-Japan-China conference was presented under the theme:

"High Impact Weather and Climate in East Asia: Understanding, Prediction and Society". Abstracts about typhoon, Asian dust, east Asian monsoon and general severe weather topics had been presented during the conference.

On the last day the technical tour was reserved for SELEX- Gematronik and numerous names from international meteorology industries to present their latest developments in instrumentation, systems and services.
