METEOR radar installation in record time

AMS- Gematronik is proud to announce that the first technologically advanced METEOR 1500S weather radar for the Bureau of Meteorology
is in operation at Buckland Park on the northern outskirts of Adelaide.

The radar forms part of a contract on the supply of 4 Klystron S-Band radars awarded late September 2004. With the first radar succesfully installed and put into operation already by mid June 2005, a major milestone of the complete project has been realized in an extremely
hort time. This outstanding achievement is mainly due to the excellent
co-operation with the Bureau of Meteorology and the commitment and flexibility of our production and engineering departments.
