SELEX-Gematronik`s record installation in Indonesia

SELEX-Gematronik is very proud to announce that the company has managed the supply and installation of a Meteor 500C system in the record time of only 6 months after signing the contract with Indonesian Batam Authorities in Batam Island, Indonesia. This successful installation could not have happened without the excellent cooperation between the installation teams, the Batam Authorities and BMG Indonesia.

SELEX-Gematronik installed this highly advanced METEOR 500 Magnetron C-Band Weather Radar at Hang Nadim Airport. The radar will support the airport and Batam Authorities with the state-of-the-art RAINBOW 5 weather data management software. In addition, all collected data will be transmitted to BMG Indonesia's headquarters, located in Jakarta, to be processed for precise weather forecasting as a major tool enabling early detection of severe weather.
