SELEX-Gematronik and GRAW has joined forces in global marketing and sales activities for GRAW Radiosondes and provide integrated Radar - Radiosonde products to customers.

Based on the integrated use of radar and radiosonde data, SELEX-Gematronik  will also be able to offer significantly improved radar data validation and calibration.

SELEX-Gematronik customers around the world will benefit from new Rainbow products based on Radar-Radiosonde data fusion and higher reliability of radar data due to their validation by an additional in-situ sensor.

SELEX-GRAW’s latest state-of-the-art radiosonde - the DFM-06 has already proven its excellent performance, ease of use and high reliability at many customers worldwide.

Currently it is the smallest and lightest radiosonde available on the market, with a weight of 90 grams (ready for take-off) and a size of just 94 mm x 94 mm x 60 mm.

The DFM-06 radiosonde is designed to measure the profile of atmospheric pressure, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, from the surface up to 40 km altitude. Continuous data sets of measurements are sent down to the groundstation by a high quality radio-telemetry link.
